Steve joined the IEP in Spring 2011 after a career of 24 years as a
middle school principle. He has taught community college ESL in Texas
as well as EFL courses at two different universities
in South Korea. Steve also developed English programs
in Japan.

Shannon first taught ESL for TCU in the Spring of 2010, and she
joined the IEP as an instructor in the summer. She learned
Koine Greek and French as an undergraduate student and
studied Farsi for professional purposes. Shannon has lived and
worked in India, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and
the USA (in the states of Illinois and Texas).

Tom has been an instructor in the IEP at TCU since 2005.
He is nearly fluent in the Portuguese of Brazil, where he lived several years;
and he has studied Bororo, French, and Spanish. Tom has also lived in Kenya.

Stephanie received her M.Ed. degree from TCU in 2005 and
started teaching in the IEP at TCU in 2010. She has lived and worked
in Australia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Morocco, Singapore,
Thailand, and the USA (in the states of North Carolina, Oregon, and Texas),
studying Arabic, English, French, and Thai.

After receiving both his degrees,Dustin spent a decade living and working in Japan. He began
teaching in the IEP at TCU in January 2012. He speaks Japanese and French.

Kurk came to TCU in 1995 to serve as the director. He grew up
speaking English and Vietnamese in Vietnam; he's also studied
Indonesian in Indonesia; and Japanese, Greek, Cherokee, and
Hebrew as a university student.

Kristen is a horned frog who obtained a degree from TCU first and began
a series of worldwide adventures as a student in England, Guatemala, and
then Germany, where she taught business English. With an MA in English/TESL,
she has taught in ESL programs at four different U.S. universities
and has worked as an IEP Assistant Director at two.

Lydia joined the IEP in 2011. She has lived and worked here in
Fort Worth her entire life. She brought with her 22 years of office
