Kurk came to TCU in 1995 to serve as the director. He grew up
speaking English and Vietnamese in Vietnam; he's also studied
Indonesian in Indonesia; and Japanese, Greek, Cherokee, and
Hebrew as a university student.

Kristen is a horned frog who obtained a degree from TCU first and began a series of worldwide adventures
as a student in England, Guatemala, and then Germany, where she taught business English.
With an MA in English/TESL She has an MA in English/TESL from the University of North Texas and has taught in four ESL programs on U.S. university campuses and has worked as an IEP Assistant Director for two.

Lydia joined the IEP in 2011. She has lived and worked here in
Fort Worth her entire life. She brings with her 22 years of office
